Your length of hire will determine the distance you can travel! Hire for a half day from and you can reach beautiful Horning, one of the most picturesque villages on the Broads. An hour or so’s cruise from our Wroxham marina (depending on whether you want to take it slow or kick it up a notch!), moor up at the nearby pubs and cafes and grab a bite to eat or perhaps something to drink and explore the pretty village! There is a dog-friendly café nearby if bringing the pooch along for the trip.

Hiring for a full day? Set your sights for Potter Heigham! With a pub, shops (including the legendary bargain store Potter Heigham) as well as a fish and chip shop – perfect for a nice lunch! Lathams also has a Flour and Bean café within it, perfect for a cheap eat, or there’s Bridgestones of Potter on Bridge Road, a new addition to the village which offers visitors a filling fare of delicious café food! Perfect when on a Norfolk Broads day boat hire trip.

Well, the good news is that we also hire out boats on the Norfolk Broads for week holidays or short breaks! Still finding your river legs? Then try a 2-night taster trip – longer than a day hire but not quite as long as one of our short breaks! These are perfect for those looking to see if the Broads National Park is the holiday destination for them!

Our holiday hire boats have all the facilities you may need, with flushable toilets, showers, bedrooms and fully-equipped galley areas. A longer break on the Broads means that your chances of seeing and doing the many things within this beautiful National Park is better! Considering a longer break with us aboard one of our boats?
