Wroxham Barns

Wroxham, often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Broads’, is around 4 ¼ hours’ cruise from our marina in Stalham. This makes it fantastic for second or third day visits, or perhaps take a detour on your way back up to Stalham – and also home to Wroxham Barns!

Wroxham Barns houses a variety of different things to do, see, and explore, aiming to appeal to all members of the family. Based in Hoveton in the midst of the Broads, Wroxham Barns is open all year round and all week, so can be visited at any time in the year when visiting the Broads National Park.

Shopping & Beauty

Wroxham Barns has a variety of craft, gift, and food & drink shops to explore when visiting the site. From sewing to woodwork, stained class to sculptures, clothes to cider, there’s plenty to have a look at.

Eating

Wroxham Barns also has a range of places to eat. This includes their Pantry Coffee and Terrace, which serves freshly ground coffee and homemade treats like cupcakes, as well as offering novelty menu items such as babyccinos for the little ones, as well as the opportunity for them to assemble their own sandwiches from a range of healthy options.

There is also the Barn Restaurant, with table service, that serves three-course meals, light lunches, and afternoon teas. The items on the menu are prepared from quality local ingredients, and has daily specials as well as a Sunday Lunch. The restaurant also offers a children’s menu.

Crafts

As well as stained glass, woodwork, and sewing, Wroxham Barns also has a Made by You Art Studio. A great activity for kids and adults alike, the studio provides the opportunity for you to decorate your own items, from pottery, sandart, and ‘Decopatch’.

Fun Fair & Mini Golf

The fun-fair at Wroxham Barns has a variety of rides for the children to enjoy at £1 per person.

Wroxham Barns is also open to an 18-hole adventure golf course, opened in 2008. Suitable for all ages and abilities, the course is all-weather.

Junior Farm

Wroxham Barns also features a Junior Farm, where children can get up close and personal with farmyard animals, including bottle-feeding orphaned lambs and cuddling Guinea Pigs. The farm also features a children’s play area called Piggy’s Play Sty, as well as hen houses and poultry pens, a pony yard where children can groom the ponies, and an undercover piggery. There are also goats, sheep, and rabbits for the children to meet.
