Horning is on the River Bure. It has a village green and some wonderful pubs, shops, restaurants and tea rooms. On Lower Street there is a leisure centre and the Church of St Benedicts. Pubs in Horning include The Ferry Inn, The New Inn and The Swan Inn. The village also has a playing field with some children’s play equipment. Just outside the village is BeWILDerwood, a treehouse family adventure park ideal for a great day out and making it one of our customer’s top towns and villages on the Norfolk Broads.

Wroxham is also on the River Bure and is often referred to as the capital of the Broads. Hoveton is a neighbouring village and is actually where most facilities are located but both areas are typically referred to as Wroxham. The famous Roys of Wroxham is a local department store selling anything and everything! Wroxham also has pubs, restaurants and some small amusement arcades. Attractions include Wroxham Barns and Hoveton Hall. Hoveton Hall Gardens are open to the public from May to September and include a children’s activity trail and tea rooms. Wroxham Barns has outdoor play equipment and an indoor play area. There is also a junior farm with activities, craft shops and a restaurant.

Ludham is a village located on Womack Water, an access dyke off the River Thurne. Ludham has a pub, tearooms and shop. From Ludham there are some lovely marsh walks with great views of the river.

Ranworth is a village off the River Bure with a popular nature reserve and visitor centre. There are many lovely walks to be had, especially if you enjoy your wildlife. The village of Ranworth has a 16th century church, a good pub and a village shop, earning its spot on our customer’s top towns and villages on the Norfolk Broads.

Coltishall is on the River Bure and is sometimes referred to as the ‘gateway to the Broads’. It is very picturesque with riverside pubs, a common, restaurants and shops.

Beccles is on the River Waveney and is a market town. There are a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also the Beccles Marsh Trail for people who enjoy walking. Beccles also has an outdoor swimming pool, skateboard park and various play areas.

Reedham is on the River Yare and features a 19th century grade II listed windmill called Polkey’s Mill. It has various pubs and a fish and chip shop and a church. It is on the Wherryman’s Way walk.
