Please note – we are currently only able to advise on holidays up to 24th July 2020. We please ask that, if your holiday is after this date, you keep an eye on our website for any further updates.

We are pleased to announce that, in light of the recent UK Government announcement, we will shortly be able to reopen for boating holidays. We are really looking forward to welcoming our guests to the Broads National Park! 

We intend to reopen for boating holidays from 4th July 2020. If your holiday is due to take place on 3rd July 2020, we will shortly be contacting you with your options.  

We will take new bookings which begin from 4th July 2020 only. 

If you are due to visit us, it is your responsibility to ensure you are following the UK Government’s most recent guidance on social distancing. We have put procedures into place to safeguard both our guests and team. You will be sent a series of e-mails prior to your arrival with further information regarding this, as well as important information regarding your trial run and Captain’s Manual. Please ensure you carefully read these e-mails prior to your arrival – they are important. 

Social distancing measures mean we have made significant changes to the way we check in – again, this information will be included in an e-mail sent to you prior to your arrival via e-mail. 

We hope you are as thrilled as we are that we will be able to reopen to our guests shortly, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

For Bookings from 14th September 2020

As you may know, the government has updated the rules on restrictions on gatherings that come into effect from 14th September 2020, which you can see here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing.

If you have a booking from 14th September 2020 with more than 6 guests you may be in breach of the new legislation.  Therefore, if you need to cancel or amend your booking as a result, you have the following options:

  1. We will transfer your booking for the same accommodation and date in 2021.
  2. Cancel your existing booking and request a refund of what you have paid.
  3. Reduce the number of people associated with your booking.

 

If you do need to cancel or amend your booking then please call the bookings team on 01692 582277 otherwise, if your party composition is such that your booking can go ahead without amendment, then there is nothing for you to do.  If you do not take action, we will assume that you can lawfully make use of your booking.
