Discover Stalham: New Marina Signage Showcases Local Businesses

We’re delighted to share that the Stalham Steps project is now complete, with vibrant new signage installed at Richardson’s Stalham Marina – making it easier than ever for our guests to discover everything Stalham town centre has to offer.

Positioned at both the marina driveway entrance and guest check-in area, the eye-catching display highlights a wide range of local businesses and community organisations under the banner:

“Stalham Steps – Connecting the Marina and Town Centre.”

Making It Easy to Explore Stalham

Every year, more than 30,000 visitors arrive at Richardson’s Marina. Whether you’re setting off on a boating holiday or enjoying a day on the water, Stalham town centre is just a short, walkable distance away – and full of independent shops, pubs, cafés, services and community experiences waiting to be explored. The new signage acts as a visual showcase of what’s on offer in the town.

Supporting Local, Together

Stalham Steps is about strengthening the connection between the marina and the high street – helping our guests make the most of their time here while supporting the local visitor economy.

The outdoor signage is supported on Richardson’s online platforms, including a dedicated Discover Stalham – Stalham Steps page on our website showcasing the participating local businesses.

The initiative was part funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund, was supported by North Norfolk District Council and delivered in Partnership with Norfolk County Council. Funding support from Richardson’s Boating Holidays ensured there was no cost to participating businesses.

A Word from Richardsons

Greg Munford, Chief Executive at Richardsons said:

“Stalham is fortunate to welcome tens of thousands of visitors to Richardson’s Marina each year. Stalham Steps is about strengthening the link between the marina and our high street – making it clear how close, walkable and welcoming our town centre is”.
