BeWILDerwood is an adventure park filled with boggles and fun. Just 4 ¼ hours from our Stalham marina, this is a great day activity for your second or third day on the Broads and is popular with families.

What you can expect during your visit to BeWILDerwood

Located in Hoveton, next door to Wroxham, is BeWILDerwood, an adventure play park. Situated in 50 acres of wild forest, the park has treehouses, zip wires, and jungle bridges, as well as boat trips, marsh walks, and storytelling. The large adventure play park is based on the series of children’s books written by local author Tom Blofield.

A short 7-minute taxi ride from Wroxham, or 4-minute taxi ride or 15-minute walk from Horning, where mooring is available, BeWILDerwood is great for the whole family to get involved with. The park recommends the adventure play for 2 – 12 year olds, but recommend the whole family getting involved, from toddlers right up to grandparents.

The Sky Maze

Set in the treetop canopy, the interwoven structure of The Sky Maze winds through nearly half a kilometre of natural landscape and trees in BeWILDerwood’s park. Made up of connecting tunnels, walkways, bridges, cargo nets, spiral staircases and more, there are many different ways to explore the maze.

BeWILDerBoat Junction

A different way to get into the park, you can catch a BeWILDerBoat from the BeWILDerBoat Junction when you enter the park, and journey through the Dismal Dyke to the Scaaaaary Lake where you can see Mildred the Crocklebog. Pushchairs are also able to go on-board, so the whole family can enjoy the creepy journey into the park by BeWILDerBoat. The boatmen also tell stories about the characters that live in BeWILDerwood.
