As you may have heard, Richardson’s Boating is proud to announce that we’re sponsoring footballing legend Iwan Roberts, who is running the Virgin London Marathon this year. He is raising money for Community Sport Foundation, who help over 50,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport.

Iwan played for Norwich City Football Club from 1997 - 2002, during which he scored 96 goals and was the third-top scorer in the history of NCFC.

So, we’re pleased to announce that he’s writing an exclusive weekly diary just for us, in which he’ll reveal how his training is going, how he’s finding the build-up to the big day, the runs he’s completing, his dietary habits and much more.

Iwan’s training diary will be a must-read for runners and football fans alike. We can’t wait to see how his training progresses and read his thoughts as the marathon approaches.
